BLISINGA
The Lord is adding to the church in Blisinga. Several men have come to faith in Christ for salvation. Please pray for the believers. May God grant them strength to withstand all persecution. May their faith be increased. May the Lord fill them with His Holy Spirit, Amen.
THE CONTAINER HAS ARRIVED
We started about two years ago, working out the details for shipping a container to Ghana. It took more than a month to work through all the bureaucracy at the port. Thanks to Sandra, Lisa, Glen, Jack, Kay and so many other generous people, we now have two dental chairs in the dental clinic. Ayuba (Job) can be seen using one of the new dental chairs.
Also included in the container, were operating tables and eye glasses for the eye clinic, along with some much needed medical equipments.
A Jeep was also donated, which has been put to work right away. The Jeep was a big hit in Blisinga, everybody loves it.
It is wonderful to travel to Blisinga and other villages without having to call the mechanic for repairs every time, due to the very bad roads. May the Lord bless everyone who gave so willingly.
MALI MISSION
Pray for the ministry in Mali. Less than 1% of the population are believers, but with God all things are possible. Please join us in proclaiming, “JESUS IS LORD” in Mali. The seeds are being planted, and a great harvest is expected. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Amen.
CHAPIN
Pastor Paul Allen (on the right) and Jerry Rye (standing in the background) of Chapin United Methodist, Chapin, South Carolina, visited us last August. We had a bodacious great time of ministry and fellowship. These men were a blessing to us, but what we will remember the most, are the souls that came into God’s kingdom during their time of evangelism in the village of Sanga. When someone travels half way around the world to deliver a message- the good news that Jesus saves, it really makes an impact on the hearers.
Jerry Rye is a super handyman. He did an excellent job of installing the burglar bars inside the new staff residences. We were anticipating the job to take about a week to finish, Jerry brought his own tools and it was done in one day. Also, he installed new door latches on our Ford van.
MINISTRY BUILDING
This picture shows one of the construction workers, using a machine to polish the floor. The terrazzo floor of the ministry building is almost complete. The window frames have been installed. Next week the louvers will be fitted into the frames. This is one of three auditoriums in the ministry building.
